Bianca Andreescu no disputará el Open de Australia 2020
Apenas unos minutos después de conocer la baja de Richard Gasquet para el próximo Open de Australia, otra ausencia todavía más dolorosa nos llegaba desde el circuito WTA. Bianca Andreescu, vigente campeona del US Open, anunciaba en redes sociales que su problema en la rodilla le impedirá estar presente en el primer Grand Slam de la temporada. Una noticia que duele especialmente por todo lo que ha tenido que pasar la canadiense con las lesiones en el último curso. Esperemos verla de vuelta cuanto antes.

Open is unfortunately too soon in my rehab process and I sadly will not be able to play in it this year. It was a very tough decision to make as I love to play in Melbourne but I have to respect the recuperation plan for my knee and body. I can’t wait to come back to Aus soon x
