Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have once again been the main protagonists by facing each other in three out of the four Grand Slam finals, besides meeting in numerous other circuit finals and exhibitions. The Spaniard and the Italian arrived at the ATP Finals 2025 in Turin with unresolved matters.

In addition to the battle for the world number one spot, which Alcaraz is very close to winning, Alcaraz and Sinner are the top favorites for the ATP Finals 2025 trophy. An important title to conclude a great season for both the Spanish and Italian players.

Do Alcaraz and Sinner ever get tired of seeing each other?

"I already said it in the summer, I see him more than my mother," Alcaraz confessed jokingly in the joint interview with Sinner for CNN. "I never get tired." The Italian joined the conversation: "It's good and bad, both, but we are both very happy to see each other. When we train together, when we meet in the locker room, it's fantastic. Getting to know each other more and more is natural, we talk about family, life, personal things."

About the Alcaraz-Sinner rivalry

"I think the word rivalry stays in the professional part," Carlos clarified. "In terms of tennis, we try to find each other's weaknesses on the court, but then when we greet each other at the net and leave the court, we are completely different. Sometimes we forget about that rivalry and we are just people."

The ATP Finals 2025

"I have to get good results here in Turin if I want to finish as the number one," said Alcaraz. "My goals remain the same."

"It has been a very different year for me," Sinner revealed. "It has been a year with very unusual situations, here there is an extra motivation and pressure, which is a privilege. It would be fantastic to end the season with victory, with the big trophy, but you cannot forget how the season went. This has once again been a great year for both of us."

Carlos Alcaraz's best year

"It has undoubtedly been my best year," Carlitos admitted. "In terms of level, consistency... I have seen a lot of growth in myself in understanding certain situations, realizing what I need to do, and knowing what I need on the court."
