Ruud laisse Davidovich sans réponse à Madrid

Casper Ruud continues to advance steadily in his quest to defend the title at the Mutua Madrid Open. The Norwegian cruised past Alejandro Davidovich (6-3, 6-1) to reach the round of 16, having conceded only five games throughout the tournament. Ruud was very focused from the start and never allowed the Malaga native to get into the match, leaving him without a response to the reigning champion's solidity. The Norwegian now awaits Tsitsipas or Dani Mérida in the round of 16.
