Both at a professional and amateur level, it is essential to be able to play tennis with rackets that enhance our performance on the court and, at the same time, take care of the joints and tendons in our arm, with the aim of offering our best level without needing to push our physical limits. For this purpose, the Wilson Clash 100 V3 has been released this year, the racket that we are analyzing today at Punto de Break.

An Eye-Catching Design

The first thing that attracted me was the design. As we already know, Wilson tends to pay a lot of attention to this aspect, and the Clash V3 is a good example of that. The matte black finish with red details looks spectacular. It is elegant, modern, and feels very premium in hand. One of those rackets that you see and immediately want to hit the court with.

Light, Maneuverable, and Well-Balanced

In terms of technical specifications, it is a quite well-balanced racket, with a head size of 100 square inches, providing a good sweet spot (something appreciated if you don't hit perfectly all the time), 295 grams unstrung, and a balance of 32 cm that makes it maneuverable due to its lightness but stable.

From the very beginning, I found it easy to move, without losing that sense of solidity you need to hit with confidence.

From the Baseline: Easy to Play and Very Comfortable

It was from the baseline where I enjoyed it the most. The ball comes off very smoothly, allowing you to make wide swings without fear because it hardly transmits any vibrations; if you are prone to arm discomfort, you will appreciate gripping a racket like the Clash V3.

We noticed that when closing out the point, sometimes giving that extra weight to the ball can be a bit challenging, but the Clash V3 allows you to play with placement and spin to win points without needing to hit it too hard.

In the end, it's a racket that brings enjoyment while playing and is perfect for finding rhythm in long rallies.

At the Net: Quick and Very Responsive

Another thing that surprised me was how it performs at the net. It is very easy to maneuver, allowing you to react well even when facing powerful shots. The volleys feel solid, especially the low ones, giving you the sensation of always being well connected with the ball.

I only noticed that against very heavy shots, a bit of stability may be lacking, but overall, I found it very reliable at the net.

Serve and Return: Versatile and Comfortable

I felt comfortable with the serve from the get-go. You can serve with power, but above all, it's easy to put spin on the ball, especially with a kick serve. It gave me a lot of security on second serves: you can aim with intention without fear because it responds very well.

On returns, you also feel its versatility. You can hit flat, with topspin, or even slice, and the racket absorbs the opponent's power well. What I liked the most is that I didn't feel rushed in my setup, not even against powerful serves. You can be aggressive and aim for the lines without the racket letting you down.

Conclusion: A Racket to Enjoy Tennis in All Its Aspects

The Wilson Clash 100 V3 seemed to me a very complete racket. Very comfortable, easy to use, and with a great balance between control, power, and sensations. For me, it's perfect for intermediate club players who have been playing for some time, want to improve their level, and also seek a racket that takes care of the arm while allowing them to compete confidently.

It's not a typical "pro" racket, but that's precisely what I liked about it: it allows you to play well, enjoy, and feel comfortable right from the first rally.
