This is how Valentin Royer plays, Djokovic's next opponent at Roland Garros 2026

Valentin Royer will experience an unforgettable day next Wednesday when he faces Novak Djokovic at Roland Garros 2026. The 24-year-old French player, currently ranked 74th in the world, although he reached 54th in the ATP ranking earlier this year in February, is a very complete player, with great baseline mobility and no weaknesses in his tennis. It is expected that he will challenge Djokovic physically, trusting that he can maintain Novak's baseline rhythm. He is coming off a three-set victory over Dellien and was a finalist in the Oeiras Challenger a few weeks ago.
