Blockx, the latest 'teenager' to reach his first Masters 1000 semifinals

The good performance of Alexander Blockx in the 2026 Mutua Madrid Open has allowed him to enter the list of young players who have managed to reach the semi-finals of a Masters 1000 at least once. The Belgian is the latest tennis player born after 2003 to achieve this milestone after Carlos Alcaraz (13), Holger Rune (6), Arthur Fils (2), and Jakub Mensik (1).
