Toni Nadal: "Alcaraz is already one of the best in history"

Toni Nadal closely follows the tennis news and provided an interesting analysis in ElPais on what happened in the 2026 Australian Open final, where Carlos Alcaraz emerged victorious. He believes that the key to Alcaraz's response to Djokovic's strong first set was his ability to calm his game, reduce the power and intensity of his shots, and toughen up the match. Rafa's uncle thinks that Novak remains "an extraordinary competitor, a born fighter, and an exemplary athlete," but he sees how, at his age, it is difficult for him to recover from the efforts made. "This triumph by Carlos clearly indicates that he is already one of the best in history," concludes the Balearic.
