CONFIRMED: Alcaraz makes a decision regarding his coach for 2026
It seems that there is a final decision, for now, regarding the new coach of Carlos Alcaraz for 2026. As journalist Ángel García from COPE reveals, more than five coaches have offered to work with the Murcian in the past few hours, but all have been rejected after Alcaraz and his team decided that Samu López will be the one to travel with him, for now. It remains to be seen how things progress in the first months of the year to see if they decide to add a new voice to complement and assist Samu, who has the complete trust of Carlitos and his team.
More than 5 coaches have offered to train @carlosalcaraz, but the final decision is that Samuel López will be his main coach for this season.
I am very happy because he is a great guy and a great coach.
The rest of the team, except Ferrero, also continues. https://t.co/uMANYG8shW— Angel Gª Muñiz (@agarciamuniz) December 18, 2025
