After a great battle for the world number one throughout the year between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, the Spanish player manages to finish the year as the world number one, receiving the trophy that confirms his top position in the ATP ranking. This ceremony took place just before the first individual match of the day at the ATP Finals, which pitted Jannik Sinner against Ben Shelton. So, following the tribute to the Spaniard, they crossed paths in the halls, and the one from San Candido congratulated him with a "bravo."
