Carreño will complete the Spanish team for the Bolonia Finals.

The Spanish Davis Cup team already knows its complete lineup for the Bologna Finals. Pablo Carreño has been chosen by David Ferrer as the fifth man, the final piece of a solid selection aiming to reclaim the trophy on Italian soil. The player from Gijón, who was the hero of the fifth and decisive point in the round of 16 against Denmark, joins Carlos Alcaraz, Jaume Munar, Pedro Martínez, and Marcel Granollers in a high-caliber squad from which Alejandro Davidovich will definitively not be a part.
