ATP Shanghai 2025: Sinner already knows who could be his opponent in the round of 16

A major surprise has occurred at the ATP Masters 1000 Shanghai 2025 with the breakthrough of Valentin Vacherot, currently ranked 204th in the world, reaching the round of 16. The 26-year-old Monegasque tennis player came through the qualifying rounds and in the main draw, he defeated Djere, Bublik, and Machac. He took advantage of physical discomfort suffered by the Czech player, who had to retire with the score at 6-1 3-0 in favor of Vacherot. If Jannik Sinner defeats Griekspoor, he will face the player from the Principality.
