About the slight scare in his left leg

"It's nothing serious. I had diarrhea for the past few days and lost some fluid, but I feel fine. I also had a bit of tension. The mix of tension and the past few days weren't easy, but yes, I feel fine. I'm not worried about tomorrow. Everything is fine."

Analysis of his victory over De Miñaur

"The third set was key without a doubt. When you break and hold serve, it's positive. Then I tried to be a bit more aggressive, which worked very well in the third set, but in the second set, he had some opportunities. He couldn't take advantage of them before, then I had mine and couldn't capitalize on them. It was a very even match.

He was playing excellent tennis, both of us. It was a very demanding match physically. Overall, I'm very pleased with the level and the match today, with some ups and downs, which is normal. In general, I'm very happy."

Monitoring what's happening in Tokyo

"I watch matches not only here but also in other tournaments. I enjoy watching tennis; I'm a big fan, I watch all the matches. I've never been to Tokyo, but it seems like the conditions of how the game is played, through television, are a bit different from here," he explained, admitting he is keeping an eye on the final between Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz in the Japanese tournament.
