De Miñaur and Boulter request a WC for the mixed doubles of the US Open

Seeing how the lineup for the upcoming US Open mixed doubles is shaping up, it's no surprise that some pairs have raised their hands asking for a chance to participate in a draw we're looking forward to enjoying. This is the case of Alex De Miñaur and Katie Boulter, who are also a couple in real life. And why aren't they on the roster? Well, I don't know, but yesterday the Australian didn't hesitate to publicly request a wild card, through social media. Let's see if they eventually get lucky and can join the action in New York in a few weeks.

Katie and I would like to ask for a WC pretty pretty please 🙏😢 https://t.co/wLwPfKQjAa
