Trouble this week at the WTA 250 Eastbourne after what happened this afternoon. Daria Kasatkina was knocked out in the first round, who was the top seed. The Australian was unable to defeat Lulu Sun (7-5, 2-6, 6-3), who will arrive at Wimbledon with a streak of four consecutive losses. Bad news also for Ons Jabeur, who reached the quarterfinals in Berlin but this time couldn't even pass the first round. A tremendous performance by young Maya Joint (7-5, 6-2) to knock out the Tunisian in a day full of surprises.
