Mueller and Comesaña starred in one of the most spectacular moments of recent times
Fighting for every ball is something that is implicit in the DNA of Argentine players, and that's exactly what Francisco Comesaña showed in his match against Alexandre Muller in the semifinals of the ATP 500 Rio Open 2025. The Argentine pulled off an incredible move, leaping over the net to try to return a brilliantly executed backward-spin volley by the Frenchman. The images are amazing.
Alexander Muller hits an INSANE volley against Comesana in Rio.
So good it bounces back over on his side of the net. 🤯
Francisco literally FLIPS and rolls over the net trying to chase it.
Muller helps him up.
Showmanship 🤝 Sportmanship.
