Landaluce lets 2MP slip away in his debut at the Davis Cup

Although there was nothing at stake anymore, the reality is that a good portion of the Spanish fans did not want to miss the fourth point between Switzerland and Spain in this first-round series of the 2025 Davis Cup. It was the consolation match after the away victory, yes, but on the court, Martín Landaluce stepped up to play an official match in the competition for the first time. And he had it! Two match points were in his favor during the match against Remy Bertola, but the Swiss player ended up taking it in a crazy supertiebreak (6-7, 6-3, 16-14). Final score, 1-3 for Spain, which will play against Denmark in September for a spot in the final phase.
