Ups and downs for Munar and Carreño in the qualifying rounds of the Vienna ATO 500

Jaume Munar secured the victory in his first qualifying match at ATP Vienna 2024 in straight sets, in what was a dangerous encounter against the local player Jurij Rodionov (7-5 6-3). On the other hand, Pablo Carreno could not take advantage of the tournament's invitation to play the qualifying round and suffered a heavy defeat against the Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild (6-3 6-2).

Jaume Munar will face the French player Quentin Halys tomorrow for a spot in the main draw of the ATP 500 Vienna. The match is scheduled to start at 12:00 PM (Spanish peninsular time).
