Ferrero Challenger Alicante 2024: Jódar's First Appearance

The main draw of the Alicante Ferrero Challenger 2024 will take place next week. Players of great world stature will compete for the 100 points that this Spanish event awards to the winner. While on the last day of the qualifying phase, six Spaniards will compete for a spot in the main draw, only two have already secured their presence: the young promises Martín Landaluce and Rafael Jódar. The latter will make his debut in the category after receiving a wildcard from the tournament for winning the US Open Junior 2024.

Among the top names in the tournament, we find Duje Ajdukovic as the number one seed, the young Frenchman Luca Van Assche, and the talented yet controversial Benoit Paire, who will try to earn points in one of the last attempts to return to the tennis elite.
