Djokovic is playing at his best level since reaching the semifinals at Wimbledon. The North American tour showed a very poor image of the Serbian tennis player, who finished without any victories, but upon returning to Beijing, he has found his best form and has been able to defeat two great names like Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev. It is true that physical uncertainty still exists, but Nole's history with this tournament and the fact that he only has the final left to play invites us to think he will be at 100%.
However, he will face an opponent who gives away not a single point, who fights for every ball like few others, and who moves perfectly on this surface: Alex De Miñaur. The Australian tennis player is having a somewhat inconsistent season, where he hasn’t been able to step forward in the big tournaments, but in Beijing, he has eliminated players of the caliber of Andrey Rublev and Hubert Hurkacz to make a statement and reach a new final. His strategy will be clear: to extend the points as much as possible to tire Novak out.
