Toni Nadal has been an undisputed protagonist in the tennis world over the past week. The series on Netflix reveals that Rafa, Moyá, and the rest of Nadal's team were astonished to hear Toni publicly announce that he would not continue with Nadal's team the following year. Did they find out through the media? Toni addressed this incident candidly: "I stopped training Rafael when I felt I couldn't contribute more. I made the mistake of commenting in an interview in Budapest that I would spend more time at the Academy next year without discussing it with him first. I didn't realize it would cause such an impact." Toni pointed out that he has no regrets about the way he raised Rafael and explained that his methods could only have worked that way with him.
