Ruud prepares the defense of his crown in Madrid at the Rafa Nadal Academy
Casper Ruud is already preparing for the clay court season with his focus on the Mutua Madrid Open, where he will defend the title he won in 2025. The Norwegian is training at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor, recovering from the injury that forced him to withdraw from Monte Carlo and seeking to regain his feel on clay before returning to the Magic Box. The reigning champion in the Spanish capital, one of the most reliable players on this surface, aims to arrive in great shape for a crucial tournament on his calendar.
