Alcaraz cancels his training today in Barcelona

Carlos Alcaraz has raised alarms this Wednesday morning after cancelling the training he had scheduled for today at the Barcelona Open 2026. The player from Murcia caused a scare yesterday by requesting medical assistance in his tournament debut against the Finnish player Otto Virtanen due to an issue with his wrist and forearm. However, everything calmed down when he secured a smooth victory. But this morning, we have learned that he will not step onto the training courts of the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona today, so we will have to closely monitor his progress leading up to the round of 16 match against Tomas Machac.
