ATP 250 Marrakech. Buse takes Berrettini's measure.

Ignacio Buse has Matteo Berrettini figured out. Just like what happened at the Rio de Janeiro ATP 500, the Peruvian tennis player has managed to defeat the Italian after a very disputed match, coming out on top with a score of 7-6(5) 6-7(2) 6-4 after three hours of play. He will face Camilo Ugo Carabelli for a spot in the quarterfinals, in a 2026 where he is making a statement and climbing higher in the ATP rankings, already part of the top 60.

Results of the day:
Marco Trungelliti d. Henrique Rocha 7-6 6-2.
Camilo Ugo Carabelli d. Timofey Skatov 6-3 7-6.
Kamil Majchrzak d. Juan Manuel Cerúndolo 7-6 3-6 6-3.
Alexandre Muller d. Federico Cina 6-2 and 6-3.
Mattia Bellucci d. Reda Bennani 6-3 3-6 6-4. Luca Van Assche d. Hugo Gaston 6-4 7-6(5)
