Gauff subscribes to drama in this Miami Open

Another victory for Cori Gauff this week, another win in the third set. Tremendous survival exercise that the American is signing at the Miami Open, where she had never achieved a good result until she finally broke through. Her hard-fought triumph against Belinda Bencic (6-3, 1-6, 6-3) secures her spot in the semifinals, where she will meet Karolina Muchova, who has been playing at a very high level of tennis in recent months. A very open match where, however, the head-to-head is very much in favor of the local player. They have faced each other five times, and Gauff has won all five encounters.
