Moutet meets Sinner in the third round of Miami

A real rollercoaster ride that Corentin Moutet and Tomas Machac rode this afternoon in the match that faced them at the Miami Open 2026. A ticket to the third round of the main draw was at stake, but it was much more than that. Jannik Sinner was already waiting there, so the Frenchman ended up showing more motivation to pull through the clash (6-0, 1-6, 6-4) and now set up a meeting with the Italian. Watch out because last time they played each other, Moutet already caused an upset by taking a set from the world No. 2. We will see what happens next Monday.
