Mensik: "My tennis keeps growing and defeating Sinner makes me see that I am on the right track"

Jakub Mensik wants to continue the good level shown in Doha, where he was able to defeat Jannik Sinner, in an ATP 500 Dubai 2026 that he approaches with high expectations. "It meant a lot to me to beat Jannik because it gives me an idea that I am on the right path. It was a shame not to have the necessary time to recover and face the semifinals with confidence, but having defeated Sinner gives me confidence. I feel that my tennis continues to improve," said the young Czech.
