Nishikori crashes spectacularly and talks about Sinner: "He plays perfect tennis, in my opinion"

Kei Nishikori was eliminated in the Yokohama Challenger, losing 6-2 6-2 to Uchida, highlighting how far he is from his level. However, in the press conference, he offered an optimistic view. "The good thing about this week is that I have regained a maximum motivation to play tennis, something that had not happened to me for a while," he said before talking about Jannik Sinner. "He has the perfect tennis game, from my point of view. I approach his matches as visualization training because it is the playing style I dream of," he concluded.

Kei: The good thing for today is, I felt motivated, it's the first time for a while, I was happy for that. I wanted to play a good match from the beginning. Expected it would be the last match whether I win or lose, so it kinda felt like enough, but it was a good match. pic.twitter.com/OGXEugLrwP
