Sabalenka joins a select group of legends by dominating the WTA rankings throughout the year
Aryna Sabalenka finishes the year 2025 as the undisputed queen of the WTA ranking. The Belarusian has led the ranking throughout the entire calendar year, joining a select group of legends who have also achieved this feat, such as Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova, Steffi Graf, Monica Seles, Serena Williams, and Ashleigh Barty, all retired from professional competition.
To maintain that top position with 9,870 points, Sabalenka achieved three WTA titles in 2025 and claimed victory at the US Open, also reaching the finals of both the Australian Open and Roland Garros.
