Djokovic ensures leaving Shanghai as the third best tennis player of the season

At 38 years old, skipping numerous Masters 1000 events and seeing himself distant from Sinner and Alcaraz. None of that prevents Novak Djokovic from being the third best player so far this year. The Serbian has secured the third position in the ATP Race after ATP Masters 1000 Shanghai 2025, regardless of the outcome of the remaining tournament. In terms of the ATP ranking, Djokovic can only come out among the top four in the world if he reaches the final.
