Wawrinka, Luxury Invitation to the Shanghai Masters 1000
The ATP Shanghai 2025 has announced its invitations for the upcoming edition. Just a week before its start, we already know which names will complete a dream lineup... and there is a big surprise, perhaps unexpected: the Chinese tournament has granted an invitation to Stan Wawrinka, who will travel to Asia solely for the dispute of this Masters 1000. After coming close to triumphing again at the Challenger level (lost in the final of Rennes against Hugo Gaston), 'Stanimal' returns to an ATP tournament. The other three wildcards were given to the three local stars: Wu Yibing, Zhizhen Zhang, and Juncheng Shang.
