Fierce quarrel between Ostapenko and Townsend: they face off face to face

Moments of pure tension were experienced in the final moments of the match between Taylor Townsend and Jelena Ostapenko in their second-round clash at the US Open 2025. The victory went to the American player, although it was Jelena who wanted to confront her in that final greeting, surprising her opponent, who later celebrated her triumph enthusiastically with the crowd, which continued to support her.
