When the tennis world was ready to witness the farewell from the circuit of Danielle Collins, the American surprised by revealing that she would continue competing for one more season. Why did she do it? It is not known, but it is evident that this 2025 feels far from the sensations of the previous 2024. At the start of the North American summer tour, the 31-year-old failed to overcome the debut at the WTA 500 in Washington against Magda Linette (7-5, 6-4), a defeat that will make her drop beyond the top 60.
