Toni Nadal: "I don't see anyone who can seriously put Alcaraz in trouble at Wimbledon"

Getting to know the perspective of a historical tennis figure like Toni Nadal is always of great interest and his column in ElPais is worth reading. Just hours before the start of Wimbledon 2025, Rafa's uncle and key figure in his career shared his opinion on what to expect from the British Grand Slam, placing Carlos Alcaraz as the top favorite.

"Under normal conditions, few have the ability to unsettle him; I don't see anyone who can seriously challenge him, especially considering how full of morale and confidence he arrives," he argues before placing Novak Djokovic as a major opponent, ahead of Jannik Sinner. "The Italian knows that he failed to control his nerves at the crucial moment; that bitter memory is unlikely to leave his mind," he explained.
