Zverev continues to excel in Rome

Six from last year plus the two already in this edition, make a total of eight consecutive victories for Alexander Zverev in the Masters 1000 in Rome. The latest, just finished a few minutes ago against a resilient Vilius Gaubas (6-4, 6-0), who could only offer some opposition during the first eight games of the match. The German continues to thrive in his favorite tour of the season, now set to face Frenchman Arthur Fils in the round of 16. The difficulty of the challenge multiplies, but surely no one will want to cross paths these days with the reigning champion of the tournament.
