Withdrawn since the last Roland Garros, something happened in Alizé Cornet's stomach that pushed her to dust off her racket and return to the circuit a year later. The Frenchwoman wanted to gift herself a new farewell tour in the current clay court tour, starting this week at the WTA 125K La Bisbal d'Empordà. How did it go? Well, she hasn't forgotten how to play. A victory for the Frenchwoman against Irene Burillo (6-1, 6-2) sending her directly to the round of 16, where we will have four Spaniards.
