Bucsa's fierce struggle ends without reward

Cristina Bucsa fell early this morning in the round of 16 of the WTA Austin after fighting until the last point against McCartney Kessler. The fifth title favorite ended up turning the match around, not without suffering immensely against a Bucsa who just missed out. The American eventually took the win 5-7 6-3 7-6(4), a reflection of the two-and-a-half-hour battle.
