WTA Brisbane 2025: Andreeva spreads fear and challenges history
Mirra Andreeva wants to be a major player this season and seems to be on the right track to achieve it. She has already reached the semifinals of the WTA 500 Brisbane 2025 after defeating Jabeur 6-4 7-6 (2), delivering a stellar performance that makes her the sixth player in the last 20 years to reach four WTA semifinals before turning 18. She will now face Sabalenka or Bouzkova. The other semifinal will feature Anhelina Kalinina and Polina Kudermetova.
4 - Mirra Andreeva has reached her fourth WTA event SF. Only five players in the past 20 years have made more before turning 18 - Nicole Vaidisova, Maria Sharapova, Tatiana Golovin, Michaella Krajicek, and Coco Gauff.
