Hyeon Chung wins again after more than a year without victories

After multiple years of physical struggles, Hyeon Chung wants to give it another try. In this new opportunity, the Korean player secures his first victory in a year. A couple of weeks after his return, Chung achieves this positive result at the M25 Takasaki. We will have to wait a few months to find out if the former world number 19 can overcome the situation and regain his best form.

Hyeon Chung is making another comeback attempt. A couple of weeks ago he lost at M25 Sapporo to 16yo Hiromasa Koyama, today at M25 Takasaki he posts his first win since 2023 Wimbledon Q over ATP #1733 Yamato Sueoka. Big names in the draw include Oliveira, Moriya, Soriano Barrera.
