Daniel Evans ended the 2024 Davis Cup devastated after losing in key matches, such as those against Etcheverry and Shapovalov. The British player appeared at the press conference completely devastated and hinted that he may not compete in this competition again. "I have thought about it a lot and will have to continue doing so. I love representing my country, I have enjoyed it a lot, but perhaps it is time to step aside and let others live this experience," he stated on BBC.
