The final of Carlos Alcaraz at Wimbledon 2024 against Novak Djokovic could be classified as outstanding if it weren't for the small mistake he made at 40-0 in the 5-4 of the third set, when he wasted 3MP and ended up conceding his serve to the Serbian. What was going through his mind in those moments? The Murcian explains in this interview with Javier De Diego on RNE.

"What goes through my mind is that Djokovic, in these situations, knows them all. He has experienced it many times, the fact of saving match points, breaking the opponent, and eventually winning the match. Obviously, I didn't think about all those situations where he went from being dead to ending up winning the match, but it was a fleeting thought, we knew we had to be very strong mentally at that moment. And if we had to play a tiebreak, anything could happen there," valued the Murcian.
